Ashley was born in Memphis and attended the University of Virginia and graduated in 1997 with majors in finance and marketing. She is currently a real estate developer and is involved in marketing a downtown Indianapolis residential development property.
The couple’s charity is the Peyback Foundation. Its mission is to help disadvantaged kids, and focuses its efforts in Louisiana, Tennessee and Indiana. In September 2007, St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis renamed one of its campus facilities Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
Her name is Ashley Manning, and although her husband is one of the most famous men in America, playing in Manning Bowl II right now against brother Eli Manning as father Archie Manning looks on, Ashley manages to keep a much lower profile. Rumors of a Peyton Manning divorce have surfaced every so often as well; but these two look to still be together. Here’s six things about Ashley Manning, including whether she and Peyton have kids. 1. She grew up in Memphis, Tenn. 2. She went to the University of Virginia, graduating in 1997.
During an interview for Indianapolis Woman magazine, she said, “People may think I am aloof, but I’m not, and I am not shy by any means, but I always let Peyton shine.” She admits that she gives him space and she is very independent, perfectly happy doing her own things.
There have been a lot of theories and rumors to support the idea that there are many "open marriages" amongst the ranks of professional athletes. And as has been the case so often, we have found rumors (again, I'll repeat rumors) that suggest that Peyton Manning is dating local Indianapolis meteorologist Angela Buchman. The theory goes on to say that the Mannings heard about this rumor online and in an effort to throw people off the scent, have invited Ms. Buchman to multiple Manning charity events and public appearances. The rumor continues that Buchman is on the Manning payroll to keep quiet.
