In an interview with Waqt TV (conducted by Salman Ghani), he expressed his dissatisfaction over the investigations carried out so far by various agencies, including the United Nations.
In an obvious reference to President Asif Ali Zardari’s claim that he knew the assassins, the Sindh National Front chairman said Ms Bhutto’s widower should have the killers’ names included in the First Information Report (FIR).
He doubted the genuineness of the will that President Zardari had read out to the PPP leaders at a Larkana meeting after the burial of the late Benazir Bhutto. He said relations between the husband and the wife were strained for three years. There was no interaction between them. Benazir had excluded him from politics. She had also not awarded ticket to Mr Zardari for the general election. “Then how did the will come overnight,” he asked.
