ISLAMABAD, Jan 8 (APP): Foreign Office Spokesman Abdul Basit on Saturday said that Pakistan had always been in favour of composite dialogue with India because it was the only way to settle the longstanding Kashmir issue amicably.In a brief telephonic interview with PTV, the Spokesman said that when the Indian Foreign Minister visited Pakistan on July 15 last year , he invitated Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to visit Indian.
Basit said the foreign secretaries of the two countries would meet next month in Thimpu (Bhutan) and if they succeed to evolve a comprehensive agenda for the resumption of composite dialogue, Foriegn Minister Qureshi would definetely visit India.
“We are waiting for the outcome of the meeting of the foreign secretaries of two countries to make a final decision in this connection,” the Spokesman said.
